Thursday Plan


Pumpkin Stew
Lightly flour, salt and pepper 2 lbs. stew meat cut up small.
Throw in crock pot.
Brown 1 onion, 2 stalks celery and 2 garlic cloves, minced.
Throw in crock pot.
Add 4 small cans beef broth.
Cut up 2 carrots, throw in crock pot.
Cut up 2 potatoes, with skin left on, throw in crock pot.
Peel and cube 1 small pie pumpkin, throw in crock pot.
Cook on low for about 4-6 hours.
Serve with crusty buttered bread.
