Sunday Plan

This recipe compliments of my friend Tricia~Thanks!
Zac added my homemade mac n' cheese to some left over chili today and it was yummo!!

My mac n' cheese is simple:
1 box elbow macaroni
3/4 to 1 loaf of Velveeta
3/4 stick butter
some milk
cheddar cheese, if desired
Boil noodles til tender. Drain and set aside. Chop up Velveeta into pieces and put in microwavable bowl w/ butter. Melt down, stirring frequently. Add cheese mixture to noodles, adding enough milk to make creamy. I also use some shredded cheddar cheese to give it a sharper taste.

Simple crockpot chili
soak 2c pinto beans on Saturday night, drain, add back to crockpot.
1 lb cooked ground beef
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 large can chopped tomatoes
1 small can tomato paste
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp salt
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp cumin
Cook on high 3-4 hours or on low for 7-8 hours.
