Ground Beef Breakfast Sausage



Breakfast just isn't the same without some sausage. Know what I mean? I have been making breakfast sausage from ground beef for awhile now. Here is the recipe I use. It contains fish sauce and you might think that peculiar, but really it is a nice touch of salty goodness. Not fishy tasting at all and has some great vitamins to boot!

GB Sausage Patty
In a bowl whisk:
1 egg
salt & pepper
juice of 1 lime or lemon
1 tsp fish sauce
1/2 tsp each cumin, ginger, garlic, coriander
Add:
1 onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
2 lb. ground beef
Mix with hands and form into patties. Fry until done in coconut oil.

Where would one buy "fish sauce"??

I get mine at Whole Foods but I would think Meijer has it in their international section.
